Keys has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including eleven Grammy Awards, seventeen Billboard Music Awards, and three American Music Awards.
"Superwoman" is a soul, R&B song written by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys, Linda Perry, and Steve Mostyn for Keys' third studio album, As I Am (2007). The track will be released as the fourth and final single from the album.
The music video for 'Superwoman' was filmed on June 9th and 10th, 2008 at Quixote Studios and Center Studios in Los Angeles. The video was directed by Chris Robinson, who has previously worked on other Alicia Keys videos like her previous MTV Award-winning video "Karma" and her previous single, Teenage Love Affair. Alicia plays many roles of women at their best strength and effort. Throughtout the course of the video, she embodies an astronaut, a young mother, an African woman, a seemingly vindictive businesswoman, and a Pharoah.}
