^{Eric Prydz,born July 19, 1976,is a Swedish DJ and producer.
In 2004, Prydz released the single "Call on Me", which sampled Steve Winwood's single "Valerie". The single was a success and topped the UK singles charts for five weeks. The song also became number one in Germany, and remained on the German Top-100 single chart for six consecutive weeks.
He is also known for his cover remix of Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" entitled "Proper Education" and also for the songs "Re-Match" and "Europa".
"Proper Education" has been nominated for the 2008 Grammy for Best Remixed Recording.
He also released the summer 2008 single "Pjanoo" which has become a huge hit in the UK, reaching the number 2 position with only download sales.
The music video for this song includes teenagers escaping school while doing parkour stunts and other various actions, like jumping from building to building. They then sneak into a number of apartments and perform energy efficient tasks, such as replacing lightbulbs with their energy efficient equivalent, turning down thermostats, turning off televisions, putting bricks in toilets (to save water) etc.}
