^{Kate Ryan (born Katrien Verbeeck on July 22, 1980, in Tessenderlo, Belgium) is a Belgian dance music singer/songwriter. She began her singing career in 2001 and represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Je t'adore" coming in 12th place in the semi-final.
"Ella, elle l'a" is the third single of her album Free. It was released on May 6, 2008 in Belgium and on May 9, 2008 in the rest of Europe as a CD Single. It had already topped number number 1 on the Spanish Download Chart and Swedish Itunes Chart, and number 9 on the Belgian Singles Chart. It also reached the top ten in Germany. It had entered the Swedish single chart at number 12, peaking at number 2, in the Netherlands, Los 40 Spain peaking at number 1 and Polish National Top 50 reached at number 7.
This song was chosen to present the album, as the second single from the album, "L.I.L.Y", was only released and charted in a few countries.}
