Note: Translation from Spanish to English, forgive the typos, Elena.
"Umbrella" is a song by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was written by Terius "The Dream" Nash, Christopher Stewart, Kuk Harrell and Jay-Z for Rihanna's third album, Good Girl Gone Bad (2007). Featuring vocals by Jay-Z, it was released as the album's lead single during the second quarter of 2007. In 2008 "Umbrella" won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in addition to receiving nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
The music video was recorded on April 13, 2007 and was directed by Chris Applebaum. The video comes more or less like this:
It starts with Jay-Z singing in a shower of sparks along with some girls with dark glasses, and Rihanna begins to sing in a vaporous and bottom is reached to see Bateria playing, while Rihanna makes sensual poses and doing a brief Mimica the lyrics of the song, when you say the word "Because" rise a little leg and lower the head while some speakers are broken, then there is a very funny scene because Rihanna appears dressed in white and starts to do choreography, in those moments , Nothing comes out of the water flying everywhere, and Rihanna as if controlled, the "hits" and so the water is diverted and not get wet, and that it also generates water (literally).
